Unless otherwise agreed in writing self measure/fit must be paid for upon ordering. Blinds measured and fitted by ourselves require a deposit of a minimum 25%-balance to be paid upon completion of satisfactory fitting. Preferred payment method is credit/debit card. Other methods of payment are to be made in agreement with the office. All payments are to be in Pounds Sterling.


We only collect necessary information about you for your order as in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 as by subsequent revisions. Information we require is name, address, contact details, credit/debit card details. We hold/dispose of this according to law. You may request details of information we hold on you by e-mail.

Statutory Rights

It is our policy to be fair and ethical in our Business practice. We will always endeavour to resolve any problems amicably. None of this however affects your Statutory Rights you have in any of your dealings with us.

Cancellation and Refunds

As your blind is made to your individual requirements, whether it is a self-measure or measured by ourselves orders are not cancelled and refunds are not given. However, at our sole discretion we may refund in full/part. It is our policy to make blinds as soon as possible, but if work has not commenced on the blind, at the time of a cancellation request we may refund as above.

Guarantee and Replacements

Blinds are guaranteed for two years as a result of faults arising from manufacturing or component faults. The blind may either be repaired or if necessary completely replaced. Any costs involved; collection, delivery etc. are covered. When your blind is delivered please inform us within seven days if there is a problem. This may be incorrect fabric, made to the wrong size etc… Contact us initially to discuss the problem or for any advice you require with fitting etc. If you have miss-measured your blind, Motorised Blinds UK are not liable for this. However, it may be possible to trim the blind or re-cut it, and we will negotiate a small charge as possible for this. Mistakes made where we have measured your blind are the sole responsibility of Motorised Blinds UK.


Blinds are supplied to UK areas only. However, we may supply non-UK areas if possible. Contact us for a delivery quote and payment arrangements. Delivery is free on orders over £99.00 to UK Mainland areas. There is a charge of £5.90 for orders under £99.00. Non-Mainland areas: Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man etc. are charged by weight and address. Please telephone 0800 389 3167 for a delivery quote. If you are not in to accept the delivery, a card will be left for you to re-arrange or to collect from a depot. If you foresee a delivery problem you may be able to pre-specify an alternative delivery address e.g. neighbour/relative. All blinds are insured and normal delivery is between seven to ten working days.
